    Umbraco Search Integration with AEM

    Hi All,

    Please let me know if Umbraco provides an API which can be used to access search results of Umbraco which can be displayed in an AEM system in a separate tab. If not please suggest any other alternative to integrate Umbraco with AEM or other CMS application.

    I am really to Umbraco and .Net. My expertise is mostly into java application and open source search technologies. Pardon me in case this a straight forward question

    Hi Arun,

    Why are you trying to integrate Umbraco with AEM? Both of them are content management systems so I'm a little unclear of what you are trying to achieve by doing this.

    If you can clarify that, hopefully we will be able to advise on possible solutions for you :-)

    Dear Nik,

    We are trying to have a federated search option which will allow searching for keywords in both AEM and Umbraco in separate page with in AEM. With respect integration, we are trying to access a API/service, which will give search results of Umbraco which can used to show the results.

    Hope that clarifies the confusion with respect to integration
