    Can't create members with valid email addresses containing a period

    Using Umbraco And Getting Started
    Umbraco 7

    I am using Umbraco 7.4.3 and i cannot create members with an email like "[email protected]". It does not like the period in the name. This is a valid email address format, but I can't register members. I can't do it in back office or the API. Is there a way for me to "fix" this?
