    Hi Wad,

The official Umbraco Headless offering is a cloud only offering. There is, I think a Rest API package that you can include on a self-hosted project but this has been discontinued.

    https://github.com/umbraco/UmbracoRestApi

    Thanks,

    Nik

    Hi Wad

As I have understood it currently the cloud headless is in beta and is currently the only option. But there should be a release of Umbraco headless at some point that you can download and host yourself. But no date has been set yet unless I have missed something the past week :)

I know this is an old question but for those that don't want to afford the Umbraco Cloud (or just need a self-hosted solution) I've come up with a custom controller that exposes Umbraco node as json:

    It's pretty simple.
