That's a very vague question unfortunately. The problem you have is that answer is "it depends".
It depends on how your site has been built and configured and without having an understanding of that its really tough to advise on how you'd go about doing what you are asking.
Due to the nature of Umbraco's flexibility, every site you come across can be built completely differently so knowing where your "global content" is actually located and how other pages reference it is impossible to know without looking at the source code.
Would you be able to provide more information about what you are trying to achieve and the structure of the site in question?

How do i edit the global content on the home page and the other pages?
As in I want to remove some sections that appears on the home page from other pages. How do i go about it please help. Thanks
