    Hi,

We are 2 people working on the same project. We want to use SQL Server as database. It is better to have local version of SQL Server. Is it possible to merge 2 umbraco databases? I have checked the SQL server Merge command but the primary keys are integer and not unique identifiers

    Thanks

    Hi Sonja

    Merge databases? are you sure?

What do you want to do with database merge?

If you need to push database changes between developers - use uSync or Umbraco Cloud

    Thanks,

    Alex

CMSImport might do what you want. Its a package here, though there is a price, it's pretty reasonable.

    Hi John

CMSImport PRO helps you import content or members from any datasource into Umbraco. I don't think that 2 developers want to merge content.

Btw, how CMSImport works with doctypes import? Is it more for the content or for the scheme?

    Alex
