    Image URL not reaching the frontend even though image is in Umbraco Media folder

    Hello forum,

    I've had a weird problem when I backed up and restore an umbraco database on Friday. The client had added some images on staging that wanted them to go live.

    Backed up and restored the database, copied over the media folder and did a 'republish entire site'.

    It should have worked as per usual BUT, ONLY the images that they had added were nowehere to be found when looking in dev tools (href was empty). The image was up and showing in the backoffice.

    Only when I went into the actual image in the media library and clicked 'save' again would it then go through.

    Does someone know what may have happened? Was it an indexing problem?

    Hi Harry,

    Yep. Probably an indexing error. Best way is to go in to the developer section and find the examine dashboard.

    There you can rebuild your indexes. Because these didn't get update when you copied over your database backup.
