    Umbraco cannot start. A connection string is configured but Umbraco cannot connect to the database.

    Hi,

    I have added web api controller in my umbraco project. Bit now whenever I try to run the application from IIS I'm getting the following message: Umbraco cannot start. A connection string is configured but Umbraco cannot connect to the database. Same message is when I try to do my web api call

    Please help

    Hi,

    Check Username and Password into SQL Server database and if the user has owner or atleast read and writer permission
