    Cannot delete certain pages

There are a number of pages in our site that we are not able to delete.

When we try to delete them we get a message similar to the following:

Oops: node is used within Smoke Control Areas, Concerns about a Child, please remove the instance(s) first.

('Smoke Control Areas' and 'Concerns about a Child' are other valid pages in our site).

I don't know what this means.

We exported a number of pages from a previous v7 web site and imported them into this site. Could this have caused the problem ?

    Hi Andy,

This will be because the pages referenced in the error (Smoke Control Areas, Concerns about a Child) will have links / references to content from / to the page you are trying to delete.

You must first delete these links / references in the back office on these pages (Smoke Control Areas, Concerns about a Child) and then you should be able to delete your page.

There are not any links or references to or from the pages mentioned.
