Some clarifications that you asked for :
Audit Trail: Is it possible to get a trail of changes that were done to a content / page. Something like "Last modified by", "Last modified date & time"
Personalization: On per user basis and/or Demographic basis
Audit trail: this is possible, you have a complete overview of changes beeing made of each page with date / user / ...
Personalisation: like security settings this is possible by adding restrictions to sections and actions in the backoffice.
