If you render the image and setup certain crop restrictions for width and height then the beautiful sun part of your image might not be part of it when rendered unless you move the focus point over the sun. This way the image cropper knows where it should start from.
Green dot in "Media" of back office
Hi, does anyone know what is this green dot for and how to use it?
Thanks,
A
Hi Adrian
It's for setting the focus point on the image.
If you render the image and setup certain crop restrictions for width and height then the beautiful sun part of your image might not be part of it when rendered unless you move the focus point over the sun. This way the image cropper knows where it should start from.
You can read more about setting the focal point here https://our.umbraco.com/documentation/getting-started/backoffice/property-editors/built-in-property-editors/image-cropper#set-focal-point
Paul Seal has made a nice video about how to use the image cropper too - You can see it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-fX_qxNRPo
I hope this helps :)
