Azure admin environment content changes not making it to the front end environment
We are seeing issues with Azure hosted sites with flexible load balancing, where CMS content updates in the admin environment does not get reflected in the production front end environment. Once we restart the app everything works as expected.
It has happen on a number of our sites over the past few weeks, all with an Azure setup for Flexible Load balancing, but have slightly different versions of Umbraco. And some of these sites we haven't done any code changes to in weeks or longer.
My working theory is that something is happening causing the site to think that it is shutting down, causing it to unregistering the events that would update or check the UmbracoCacheInstruction database table. But then it doesn't actually shut down and so it's no longer checking for updates. However, I could totally be going in the wrong direction here.
Has any one else seen this issue or have any ideas as to why this keeps happening?
