Hi. We have our own custom forms in umbraco 8, but the users can still see the umbraco forms(to the unistalled package) item in the navigation. How do I hide(delete) this?

It should be in config/sections.config
Yeah you can remove it from the dashboard.config file, although I've seen this overriden before when doing an upgrade which has been a pain for me.
Alternatively can you modify permissions and remove it from every permission group, this would then make it not visible.
