I'm currently in the same position requiring this functionality.
We've managed to write a scheduler class that can either disable or lock users out after a certain amount of time, however I could do with having some sort of trigger in the back office that would check this and force the 'user' change password overlay until they have updated there password.
Another option could be, to have a custom message on the login screen, letting the user know that due to security your password has expired, please reset to log back in, or something like that.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know, it would be much appreciated.
Anyway, time for some code bashing, I'll let you guys know if I have any success ;)
Forcing back office password change
Hi,
Is anybody aware of any mechanism/package to force back office users to have to change the password on their accounts periodically?
Hi Richard
It's a great idea for the package.
Thanks,
Alex
