We currently use Umbraco 7 and are moving to Umbraco 8. Umbraco 7 has a function to copy sections, which is really useful and we often use it.
We have been told by our developer that you cannot copy sections in Umbraco 8. Is this correct? Or can you copy sections in Umbraco 8? And how do you do this?

Do you mean sections in the Umbraco grid?
If yes, this is not something that is possible out of the box in Umbraco 7 or 8.
If you are able to do it in 7, your grid has probably been extended with the Copy Paste Grid Editors package. It doesn’t look like the package has been updated for Umbraco 8 (don’t know if the current version works with 8 or not)
