Great that you’ve stated with Umbraco :)
There’s a lot of ways to fetch data, the UmbracoHelper might be a good starting point: https://our.umbraco.com/documentation/Reference/Querying/UmbracoHelper/
Depending on where in the tree you have the node you could also query from the root of the site to get there.
Please explain a little more about what you are trying to do?
