Using VS 2019, I installed v8.0.2 via nuget in a ASP.NET 4.7.2 empty solution.
I know that the instructions say to use VS Code and IIS Express. Yet in the past, I've always run my local sites through IIS. So I set-up IIS with a local domain name, and then update the project to run IIS.
I get the following error:
If I changed my visual studio to run IIS Express instead, it works the way it should. Yes, I know I can continue now that it's working, yet....I'm a developer and don't like knowing that it doesn't work in a mode that emulates a production environment.
