    Use a data base sdf exits to conect to new project

    I´m getting this error: Umbraco cannot start. A connection string is configured but Umbraco cannot connect to the database.

    This could be happening for a number of reasons.

    Just briefly, it's worth double checking that:

    • The connection string is valid
    • The username and password are both correct
    • The database user has appropriate permissions (see Getting Started guide for V7 for more on this)
