Convert subdomain in to a main site, is it possible?
Hi, is it possible to convert a subdomain into a main site? I need to restrict public access and allow by IP address but because it sits under the main site I can't use IIS to do this. Could someone please advise on the nest approach? Thank you in advance.
Sorry for the late response. It's one main site in Umbraco and in IIS. The subdomain of the main site needs to be it's own site so that I can restrict public access by IP.

Why can't you switch the sites through a separate IIS site/IIS application pool/IIS bindings/DNS change?
Do you have multiple sites in one Umbraco installation or do you have multiple sites in one IIS application pool/site?
Can you give as much info as possible here and we can try and point you in the right direction.
