I have just upgraded / migrated a multilingual site from 7 to 8.1.1 and I am using language variants for it. All was going great until I started creating new pages. The page creates fine but I can't see it in the content node tree but it is definitely created as i can find it by searching, however the action buttons for it are missing. Any ideas what's going on?
Few suggestions:-
1) you can try stoping the iis site and clearing your internal indexing folder in AppData.
2) you can also clear Umbraco cache XML in App data
3) check the error log in AppData and see for any suspicious log.
Thanks for all your suggestions. Cleared all the cache I could think of, also studied the logs and according to them the nodes were created successfully no error or anything out of the ordinary there but the nodes are still not in the tree node.
