    Vanishing (nested) content

Text content is disappearing from some of my nested content in the cms. (I am building the templates and need the content to test them.)

I have three content doctypes available to my nested content datatype:

    • People (Composition of Title Component doctype and MNTPComponent (people))

    • Text (Composition of Title Component doctype and Test Editor Component )

    • Image (Composition of Title Component doctype and a Media Picker Component)

When I create each of these as content, save/publish it, the nested content persists (as it should).

However, once I go off and do something else, when I return, the content has consistently dissappeared from:

    • Text : the Title and the Text Editor of the text doctype
    • Image: the Title of the image doctype (but the image remains)
    • Mysteriously, the People doctype retains its title and the selected nodes

This is really doing my head in. Any thoughts?

    Hi Ault,

Is this a multi-lingual site? If so there is this issue: https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco-CMS/issues/5817

It is fixed in version 8.1.3 which is being rolled out today.

    Thanks

    Nik

Thanks Nik, that may well be the issue.

I usually update via Nuget Package Manager... But as 8.1.0 is the latest listed there, I will need to update in some other manner.

    https://www.nuget.org/packages/UmbracoCms.Core/ - v 8.1.3 is on nuget.org

if you can't find it, maybe there is someting in your setup that needs a check :)

It seemed to take a day to appear, but got it in Nuget. The update fixed the issue.
