The only thing I've seen similar to this is a video Paul Seal did about creating a Content App for Umbraco V8, and he used a 'chat' option for backoffice users as an example...
Thank you for replying! We still haven't decided on which version of Umbraco to use, but we're leaning towards 7.15. If we do choose that, obviously we wouldn't be able to use this. However, it's still useful to know.
Seems like we might decide what/ which packages are more important to us when we choose the version, and also the fact that there's no support for MySQL in v8.

Direct messaging chat for Umbraco (backoffice) Users
Hi there!
We need to implement a direct messaging app (chat) for our backoffice Users (not Members).
I tried to find a package, but it seems there isn't one other than those meant for customer support.
Any ideas about this?
