Umbraco 8 minimum requirements

We are looking to set up a new Windows 2016 server to host Umbraco V.8 for an intranet site for our company.

I was looking for some minimum requirements for the server; memory, etc.

I have the software reqs. down; I just need some hardware recommendations.

I need to go back to our infrastructure guys with this, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

There are not set minimum hardware requirements for an Umbraco site since there are so many different factors to consider. Some of them would be:
- How much traffic will the site have?
- How many pages?
- Are the pages developed with performance top of mind, for instance caching?
- Will you be running IIS and SQL Server on the same machine?
Make sure you get a server environment that you can scale.

That's the answer I expected, actually. I will be working in a scalable environment (VMWare), and since this is a development site, there won't be a problem with trial and error.
