Does anyone have suggestions for syndicating content that has been developed in Umbraco?

We are in the process of moving to Umbraco but have not decided on the best method.

We are a publisher and license content to University libraries (content is behind the University firewall and is password protected). We currently use a customized application that scrapes the content from the main website and pushes it to the University libraries The library simply pastes a JS code snippet to a blank page and we authorize the URL from within our database on the main website.
