Need some help with custom sections, all i want to do is create a custom section with a view that displays all nodes with an alias type and allows you to update fields.
Can't quite get the hang of it! i have created a custom section and can get it to display an aspx or html page but from here getting quite lost
I have, I have got as far as being able to have a html or aspx page shown in the dashboard but no further.
In my admittance I am not a huge developer of backend bits more so front end so am a bit hazy on where files need to go and how it actually comes together to work!
Essentially I want the dashboard to list all the nodes of a specific alias (learner), I then want to be able to update certain fields (Assignments) programmatically if that makes sense!
If I can get the dashboard to list the nodes using aspx webform im sure I an figure the rest out.
