    Missing menu items after upgrading to Umbraco 8

    Hi,

    After upgrading to Umbraco 8 from Umbraco 7.15.2 (followed the documentation), we have noticed that there menu items 'Packages', 'Forms' and 'Translaction' missing in the backend.

    But, a brand new Umbraco 8 backend is having Packages, Forms and Translation as shown below. enter image description here

    Hi Pavan

    Go to the Users section and check that the user you are using has needed permissions to needed tabs.

    Thanks Alex. The missing menu items are not there in the Administrator group. I could see the menu items showing up after adding them.

    I had the same issue after upgrading from v7 to v8. Packages and Translation are disappeared. I could resolve by adding Packages and Translation to Administrator Group as you mentioned.
