I just installed Analytics in V7.2.4. However, I cannot see where you view the Analytics interface. Where do you go to view this? There is no new section on the left hand side.
After installation it there was a button saying open Analytics, but on clicking this it simply went to the Content section.
Go to the users section and verify that the account you use has access to the section. You will have to grant access manually for most packages in my experience.

Dave is 100% right unfortunately there is a tiny bug in the install process that automatically assigns this section/app to the current logged in user of Umbraco.
But like Dave says you can manually add the section to your allowed sections/apps when you goto your user and assign the section there.
