I have analytics installed on a site but it isn't showing in the left column. I have gone in the users section and there isn't a check box for it either. So I cant select it to show.
I have tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it as well.
Im just wondering if there is any way to get it to work?
Could this be that the package is not correctly installed into your Umbraco installation, could you please check that is in the list of the installed packages in the developer section.
If so you could try uninstall it and then re-install the package.
I have tried doing as you have said and the check box button hasn't come back. I also tried this on a local fresh install of the version i am using (7.3.1) on my site and when initially installing it, the button was there but once uninstalling and then re-installing the check box button then disappears.
I logged back in and could not see the section in the user maintenance. I checked the Analytics section, logged out and back in and everything is as expected.
Hi, I had installed analytics package but it's not showing on my dashboard. I had checked tree.config and application.config both lines are there.I can't identify any issue.
Hi Dennis,
I have checked in the user section also but there is no analytics checkbox. The only options I could see are Administrators, Writers, Editors, Translators, Sensitive data.

Hi Nathan,
What you need to do, is to go to the users section, if you have access to this section, click on your user, and add a tick in the Analytics section.
After this try refresh your browser, and you should now see the analytics section.
Hope this helps,
/Dennis
Hi Dennis,

Its as if there is a problem with the uninstall.

Hi Nathan,
Could you please check that you have this line below in the trees.config file. You will find the config file in the /config folder.
And also please check that you have this line
In the applications.config file, you will also find this file in the /config folder.
Hope this helps,
/Dennis
Dennis,
Thank you. It was the second one that was missing. The first was still there but the second one wasn't.
Thank you,
Nathan
I had the same problem, and this solution worked for me. I did have to restart the server, though (maybe that bit was a caching issue).
Hi Dennis & Nathan
I also had this problem in umbraco and was pointed in this direction.
Fix worked perfectly thank you.
Julian
Thanks.
This also worked for me. The setting was totally missing from the application.config files.
I added this as instructed.....
I logged back in and could not see the section in the user maintenance. I checked the Analytics section, logged out and back in and everything is as expected.
Kind Regards
David

Hi Umair,
Can you please go in to the user section find your user and see if you have a tick in the Analytics section.
Let me know if this works for you.
/Dennis

Hi Umair,
Okay I think I know what you are missing here.
Go to the user section and click on Groups in the right top corner
Then click on the group that you want the should have access to the Analytics section
Click on the add button and how you can add the Analytics section for the users in the Administrator group.
Now the user will have access to the Analytics section
Hope this helps,
/Dennis
