    Is the local media storage required?

    AST Amazon S3
    Umbraco 7

    We are trying to implement this package for Umbraco 7.8.1 and would prefer that the media items not be stored on the server, but uploaded only to the S3 service. I see in a previous forum topic that this feature was going to be added to this package. Can you clarify whether the current version of AST Amazon S3 will work without storing media on the website server?

    Hi Janet,

    With the current package the local storage is required, however this project is open source so feel free to download the source code and modify it as you wish.
