+1 for the V7 support.

I just finished reading the Blog post. Its very well thought of.

Is there any near term plans or work in progress for the v7 support?

The v7 version is finally available! Sorry it's taken so long, I've been busy moving house and having a small child! :) please give it a whirl and let me know if you come across any issues!
