I tried installing on umbraco 6.16 and it doesn't seem to be working. I was wondering if there is anything I can tweak to get it to work on Umbraco 6?
Also I was wondering if it would be possible to hide a tab by default, and only show it to certain users? I see in the comments there is a way to hide a tab from a list of users, but I don't see the opposite functionality; i.e. to hide a tab by default, and have a list of allowed users.
Actually, it does work for documents. I can hide tabs on documents. I'm trying to hide tabs for the Content section, though. i.e. when the user clicks on the Content section, I want to be able to hide some of the tabs, like "Get Started" or "Change Password"
It doesn't hide those tabs! Those are controlled via the dashboard.Config file in the /config folder on the site. You can set user permissions and show hide tabs for those there. There documentation on the config file here.
This package just hide tabs on content and media, not any of the other sections I'm afraid!

I tried the package in Umbraco version 6.2.4, it doesn't seems to work in this version. Do we need some special change for u6.2.4?
