Chunked Upload

This package enables you to upload any size of file and receive progress feedback.

Files are 'chunked' and uploaded in 100kb segments, the file is then reconstructed on the server.

This package is built using plupload (www.plupload.com) and therefore "allows you to upload files using HTML5 Gears, Silverlight, Flash, BrowserPlus or normal forms, providing some unique features such as upload progress, image resizing and chunked uploads."

All uploaded files are saved/stored identically to the existing 'Upload' datatype. You can just replace the standard 'Upload' datatype

Licence

Currently this package has been released under GPLv2 as plupload (the main component) is released under GPLv2. You can purchase a commercial licence for plupload if required. There is no additional cost for this package.
