I can see from the package space that this package is a bit old, and was developed for Umbraco 4.5 There has been made a lot of changes to the API and UI from Umbraco 4 to 6, and again from Umbraco 6 to Umbraco 7.
The Umbraco 7 is using MVC by default, and another new thing is that in Umbraco 7, the property editors are made with AngularJS.
So I think that is why you get the control tab on the dashboard to show up, the package is not compatible with Umbraco 7. But if you can explain what you are trying to achieve perhaps I know a package for Umbraco 7 that does the same.
Definately not tested in v7 It does work in v6. Main issue will be the dashboard control is a webforms control and I think the dasboard is angular and or mvc? On the project page there is download for source. Dennis be interested in that project can you send link.
I donĀ“t have a package in my mind right now, it was just if Bob could explain what he was trying to achiev, maybe then there was a package for Umbraco 7 that does something similar. Or it could be done in another way :-)
Currently such package does not exists for v7 - So unless somebody is already building something similar then building something custom with AnguarJS is the way to go.
Hey Ismail any chance you are still updating this piece of software? it is an essential tool for Content Managers and i am very interested to get my hands on it.
