Hello Javier, Sorry for the long delay in my reply. I have been off over Christmas and I still am until the new year, but I have only just now checked my emails.
I would need to look into this, but it maybe that I am still using the old API for Bing/MS Translator
Hello Javier, For me to look into this and test this correctly, can you provide me with a few things please:
The language you was translating from and the language/s you were translating it to The word or phrase you was trying to translate and the expected result if you roughly know what the translation should be
This will help me to test against your problem with the Portuguese language.
I'm translating normally from Spanish(Spain) to -> English (united states) , French (france), Portuguese(Portugal), English (uk), Spanish (mexico). In that order appears on the Translation page all the languages. Sometimes i translate from English (United States) to the rest, to test how good is the bing translator.
Anyway each language you try to translate from, ends with an error on Portuguese -> "Error: The to language is not supported Parameter name: request.TargetLanguage"
And if you try to translate from portuguese the message change-> "Error: The from language is not supported Parameter name: request.SourceLanguage"
Then, the problem is with Portuguese.
Example:
1: Spanish (Spain)-> Tienda
2: Click on Translate button.
3: Results-> English (us): Shop , French(france): Boutique, Portuguese: "Error: The to language is not supported Parameter name: request.TargetLanguage", English (UK): Shop, Spanish (mexico): Tienda.
Portugues problem.
Now the translation package works perfect with 7 languages, except Portugues(Portugal), it says:
Error: The to language is not supported
Parameter name: request.TargetLanguage
Bing support Portugues, where can be the problem?
Best Regards

The correct word on Portuguese must be: Loja
