    Killer feature: Using Universal Media Picker providers

    Hi,

    I like your control a lot, but it needs one more feature to successful total domination in media pickers for umbraco :-) ability to use Universal media picker providers.

    If you can select multiple items not only from media section, but also from flickr or picasa and files from dropbox, there is no need for another media picker.

     

    Is it something like this possible?

    Hi Petr,

    DAMP is built to only support Umbraco media items. It will probably be very difficult to use other providers because the code just isn't designed for that. It's probably easier to use some code of DAMP and some of UMP and merge that, but I don't have time to do that ;). Perhaps this will be a nice feature for Umbraco 5 since I need to start from scratch for that anyway.
