    Version 7?

    Hi there!

Will this by any chance work in v7?

    Hi Keilo

I feel pretty confident that unfortunately this package is not currently compatible with version 7.

    Hi Jan

    Thanks for the reply.

Do you know of any method/package/routine that can be used to scan bodyText area for certain domain links (pdf, image), download them and create new media item of it and replace the link - in a batch sort of way?

Sorry for late reply - I've been on holiday.

Anyway, as Jan says this package is really old - it was written for Umbraco 4. In theory it might just work with 7 (as user controls are still supported as is the legacy API), but will probably render badly and not look great.

I don't really have any plans for a version 7 as there are stand-alone link checkers that work just as well. I personally favour Xenu Link Sleuth, which is free - see http://wptavern.com/how-to-check-for-broken-links-on-your-site-using-xenu-link-sleuth
