Default Surface Controller

It would be great to have a default surface controller for all doc types.

Hi Shannon,

Would you mind posting this over on our GitHub repo please?

It would also good to put down any ideas you have on how this could work - not so much the core/internals of it, more from an implementation perspective; where it would be configured, etc.

Just to let you know that we've finally released DTGE v0.2.0 - with support for setting the default SurfaceController.
