Have been trying to get the grid to work on an upgraded 7.4 that has existing content from 7.2.
The content no longer renders anywhere including preview mode, during debugging I noticed that the contentTypeAlias is empty in preview mode and that the view paths are incorrect with an additional .cshtml appended to the end e.g. myView.cshtml.cshtml.
Brand new content works fine but on an existing upgraded site the only way to get it working is to recreate the content.
I will also log a Github issue in regards to this.
Umbraco V7.4.1 & Doc Type Grid Editor
Anyone tried an upgraded Umbraco with the Doc Type Grid Editor?
Hi Steve,
So not to leave you hanging without a reply... unfortunately no, we haven't tried DTGE on Umbraco v7.4.x yet. (Due to time and other commitments)
If you have tried it, and hit problems... do let us know on our GitHub repo: https://github.com/leekelleher/umbraco-doc-type-grid-editor/issues
Thanks,
- Lee
Hi Lee,
Thanks for the reply... I shall do. Hopefully find some time to upgrade and test.
I'll also try to fix anything I find and create a PR if I do *
* this is unlikely to be for a few weeks :)
Steve
Thanks Steve! PRs are always welcome :-) but yeah, no rush at all.
Cheers,
- Lee

I have made an upgrade from 7.2.8 to 7.4.3
I have upgraded the doc-type-grid-editor to the latest version.
The content made in 7.2.8 don't render. Content made in 7.4.3 do render. Only standard editors is used - like textstring and RTE.
Anyone know how to fix this. Or a pointer in the right direction is appreciated.
is working on a reply...
