    DTGE dialog editor empty in Umbraco 7.8.1

    When creating a new DocType content in a grid or when selecting an existing one, the DTGE dialog editor stays empty.

    This occurs in Umbraco 7.8 but not in Umbraco 7.7 (*)

    (*) exact versions: 7.8.1 vs 7.7.8

    Any solution?

    Hi MDum,

    This is a bug in doctype grid editor.

    I reported it and created a PR with a fix for that ;

    https://github.com/umco/umbraco-doc-type-grid-editor/pull/89

    To get up and running in your site, the best way is to install the latest alpha versions and copy over the changes from my PR

    Hi MDum,

    I'm experiencing the same with Nested Content + DTGE. The DTGE dialog side panel is blank.

    Hi Dave - I've followed what you suggested, but it is still blank.

    That's the trick, Dave, thanks! Hope a new release of DTGE will be available soon to include this patch once and for all.

    If you want a "quick fix hack" while waiting for the release, you can also add a tab at the end of your DocType with a dummy property in it (We do that anyway because we have our dtgeLinkedId property for the Reusable DocType Grid Editor Extension package) and that'll patch the issue without a code change :)

    The fix is also in the lastest alpha version at the moment. You could try that as well
