Ah, okay, I see and can confirm. Problem is that after the the second and following postbacks don't react anymore to the JS changes on the page. I'll continue looking at that further tomorrow. For now you have to reaload the node after each publish I'm afraid... ;(
I've just uploaded a new version (1.01) of the control that should fix this. I'd appreciate it if you could have a look if your issues are fixed when you got the time?
Editing properties bug
Editing properties is not stable. (and related to sort bug I posted earlier when you alreade saved/published a document)
If I open a document for the first time and edit the embeded properties, save/publish works ok.
After that, reediting the embeded properties and save/publish does not work. Keeps old values.
Lefteris
Hi Lefteris,
I've tried now for 20 minutes to recreate the issue but without any luck I'm afraid. I did the following:
1. created a new data type, switched the control to Embedded Content and saved it
2. added 2 new properties to the list and saved it
3. without reloading the page or clicking on the data type in the left hand tree I've
- modified the existing properties and saved the type
- added new values and saved the type
- removed existing values and saved the type
After doing all this individually I reloaded the page and everything was still in order.
Can you maybe give me a hint as to what I'm doing wrong?
Greatly appreciated,
Sascha
No no, not when editing the datatype, nut when using it in content nodes!
