    HideForDialog or HideFromDialog?

    Hi Tim

I've been playing a bit around with this package this evening.

In the documentation it says that setting "HideFromDialog" to true hides node picker controls. Is that the native ondes like "content picker" and "media picker"?

And not to forget..in the predefined rule the attribute says "HideForDialog" instead of "HideFromDialog" - which one is correct? :-)

    /Jan

    Hi Jan,

Sorry for the late reply, I've been away from work for a few days! The setting does indeed hide the node from any content based node picker (the package doesn't currently support the Media tree, but I could add that pretty easily if people want it).

As for the setting, the correct one os "hideForDialog"! I hadn't spotted that, I'll update the documentation accordingly to clear up the confusion :)

    Hi Tim

Always nice to have some days off :)

So by any conten based picker you mean the native ones like content picker, ultimate picker, mntp (as of Umbraco 4.8)? I suppose it would make sense to be able to hide the media picker as well if a user should just be allowed to edit text but not change media...But maybe that's just me :)

Thanks for clearing the confusion about the attribute name. Looking forward to play more around with this and use it in real projects.

    /Jan
