Examine Inspector - remove the need for editing umbracoReservedUrls

    Hi Ismail,

From your install instructions, you mentioned about editing the "umbracoReservedUrls" value.

Why not remove the need by creating a specific folder in the "~/umbraco/plugins" folder?

    e.g.

    ~/umbraco/plugins/ExamineInspector/DocumentFields.aspx
    ~/umbraco/plugins/ExamineInspector/BackUpFileStreamer.ashx

    Cheers, Lee

    Lee,

Good suggestion. Although pre v6 would that still work? I'm not sure when the plugins folder setup was introduced. In theory examine inspector should work with versions 4.5 onwards. It has been tested with v6 and 4.9,4.8 possibly with older versions you may be lucene conflict as you do with uComponents 4 so you just need to do the same web.config assembly redirect and it should still work.

    Regards

    Ismail

The "/umbraco/plugins/" folder has been there since (at least) v3.x.

(I think v4.10 introduced the App_Plugins from folder, but I wasn't meaning that one)

    Cheers, Lee

Hey Lee, everything as been moved to /umbraco/plugins in v1.1 beta (also bootstrap has been stopped from taking over everything), fancy giving it a try? Can be downloaded here Appreciate any feedback on the changes.

    Cheers,

    Jeavon
