FastlyUmbraco v8

This package provide integration with the edge cloud platform Fastly.

Once installed you get a backoffice dashboard which displays

• Real time analytics streamed from the Fastly API
• Purge all and purge URL buttons
• Settings that allow you to specify duration of Stale While In Validate, Stale If Error and Surrogate Control Max Age

Also included is a premade composition doc type allowing control over per page settings like Cache enable/disable, Cache Duration and a purge page button.

Requirements

• An account with a service setup with API access on fastly.com
• Add the "Fastly Cache" Document Type to new pages via compositions
• Fill in settings for Fastly API Key, AppID (Service ID) and domain name in the Settings Section

Notes

If the Fastly tab does not show up in the top bar in the backoffice, it could be under the ... menu or you'll need to add Fastly to your user group in the assign access section.
