Hi I am wondering when the update version of formulate for umbraco 8.10 is coming. I tried to install and get the following error
formulate.core.Exceptions.ViewNotFoundException: 'The specified Formulate view could not be located on the file system.' . I know that the latest version even applies to Umbraco 8.9. Is there any work arround for this ?
Thanks in advance, and for a very good product!
/ Christina
Thanks for helping me out.
I upgraded my project from Umb 8.6.1 to 8.10.0 and upgraded formulate to latest version and got the error. But If I use umb 8.9.0 everything works fine.
This error usually occurs when there is a data problem. Some examples:
The form is being fetched using the incorrect property.
The form is not picked on the property.
The form is picked correctly, the configuration doesn't choose a form or layout.
The layout doesn't have the correct form chosen.
I suppose an Umbraco upgrade could have messed with the data in some way. Perhaps visit the page in the back office where the form is picked and ensure it still appears there. Perhaps also try republishing the page, and reviewing the configuration for the form/layout to ensure everything looks right.
