Just noticed theres no package manifest file, should there be? Finding old references to belle property editors using manifest files so not sure if still relevant!
Sorted - copy the package.manifest from 0.2 and add to 0.3 gmaps folder in the plugins directory, restart the site and it shows - just need to repush the package with the manifest file m8 :-)
I seem to be having a similar problem; with Google Maps not being listed in the Property Editor drop-down when I go to create the Data Type. I've tried restarting the app pool, and refreshing my entire cache. There were no errors when installing the package.
Running Umbraco 7.1.8 and version 0.4 of the package - which seems to have the manifest file.
I also tried Umbraco 7.0.4 with version 0.3 of the package but having the same problem.
Any ideas? Is there a log file somewhere that might be of assistance? PS I'm an Umbraco newbie so may have missed something obvious...
Of course I figure this out as soon as I ask for help...
Turns out nothing is wrong with the package, it was the way I had configured my local install of Umbraco.
Basically I had set up Umbraco as an application under my "Default Web Site" in IIS, and was accessing it via http://localhost/Umbraco. Once I configured it as specified in the Umbraco docs, (as it's own top level website with a domain name pointed to localhost), I reinstalled the package and everything started working just fine.
I guess the package installer doesn't expect the site to be configured under http://localhost/whatever.
Thanks for the package, Dirk, I'm looking forward to using it now.
Not showing in Developer/Datatypes for me
Hi Dirk
Can't seem to get it working. This is what i've done so far:

Hey Anthony,
Have uploaded a v0.4 version which has the correct manifest file. And support for localization (Kudos to Jan Skovgaard)
Let me know if there's still issues.
Btw: Don't forget to clear cache!!!

Cheers - it's Simon though ;-)

I might be missing some sleep! Sorry!
