is there a way to republish all your image crops?

for example if you add a new crop size 1 month into a project and need to regenerate/resave all your media items so that the crops will be regenerated.
I've tried... /umbraco/dialogs/republish.aspx?xml=true but that is just to refresh the XML i think.

please help, does anyone have a script? it would save heaps of time.

    +1, I'm lurking in here :-)

Top problem on client sites (well, just below all the WYSIWYG problems anyway :-)

I took notice of a tweet recently: http://twitter.com/#!/jbreuer1985/status/63572811347787776

that the DAMP picker solves this issue, but I've yet to test it out myself, will investigate tomorrow and repost here if it's in fact a good fix

Tim, did you get a chance to play with this?

A bit late perhaps, but the package Create Crops does exactly what you need.

    Hi all,

I have a site with 1,000s of contact images. I'm using a Contact_Image crop when displaying them. This crop was at 100x100 pixels in size, but now I need to update this to 100x150. I've tried using the Create Crops tool, but I don't think that this is designed for this purpose, i.e. I don't think it recreates crops in this situation? Please correct me if I'm wrong!

I tried deleting all Contact_Image crops from the file system but the recreated crops are incorrect. I can see that in the umbraco.config the crop exists and has the x and y co-ordinates in there, and I don't know how I can update these properly.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    David

I would look at CropUp as a replacement.

Thanks Keith but that's not an option. I thought I'd deleted this other thread to post here instead, but just to link back to the conversation with DAMP creator Jeroen: http://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/digibiz-advanced-media-picker/digibiz-advanced-media-picker/44318-Automatically-update-all-crops?p=0#comment159602
