Crop not showing properly when image is uploaded

When I have uploaded the image and changes tab to Crops the image is not displayed. If I click the image in the tree and goes to the tab then it shows up. Is it a bug or is it me?

You need to check whether you have 'umbracoFile' in the property alias field for your image crop datatype. I had the same problem when playing around in version 4.1

It's a bug, have experienced same issue on projects of mine...

@froad: tim (wolulcmit) is talking about the settings for the datatype, not the media type. Anyway, I've set it to umbracoFile and still no joy.

    Cheers,

    /Dirk

It seems that when you first upload an image then save it, and then immediately try to crop it, the cropper doesn't work. but if you reselect it from the tree again, hey presto it works. can anyone else confirm?

Yes it's a known bug Tim. You justhave to simply reload the node like you said. (A slight annoyance, but nothing too major)
Not sure if Kenny has fixed it in the 4.1 alpha though.

Does anyone know if/when there is a fix? It's pretty useless as is 'cos it's so unreliable
