Resize image by fixing to one side only

Is it possible to resize image by fixing to one side and auto scale the other side by using Image Cropper?

Hi Jamie and welcome to our :)

If you're using a newer version of Umbraco you should have a look at imagegen and cropup packages instead. Cropup is easier to use and has some more advanced features such as face detection so the focus point will initially bet set on a face, if one is in the image.

Using ImageGen you can eaysily scale an image on only the width or the height.

You find croupup here http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/eksponent-cropup and imagegen here http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/imagegen

    Hope this helps :)

    /Jan

    Hi,

I tested on Umbraco version 7.4.3 and it resizes fixing one side and auto scales the other side if you enter 0.

For example a crop size of 1280px - 0px resizes width to 1280px, auto scales height proportionally.

Yeah Osman, that's because there's an entirely different image processing engine running underneath now.
