    Select an image from media section and not upload new for image cropper

    Select an image from media section and not upload new for image cropper ?

    The image cropper only seems to allow uploading from a file source and not from the media section.

    Hi Pete

    I assume you're using a version of Umbraco that is older than 7.4 - If so then you'll need to set the upload property in the "Media" item in the settings section to use the cropper - Otherwise it will just use the default old "Upload" type.

    Go to "Settings - > Media Types -> Image" and change the "Upload image" property.

    in 7.4+ the cropper is setup as default.
