You should be able to enable macro rendering if you go to the macro in "Developer -> macros" and choose the "Render in richtext option"...Something like that.
I have been working on some other stuff, so I was very happy to see some answers once I got back to this.
Antoine I agree that it is better to have them in the grid area, however I have a case where I need to be able to insert views in LeBlender, RTE areas and in the grid and in this case it was just the easiest solution to use macros.
However all I see in the rendered view is this text:
Macro alias: Gallery
And the macro does work in other editors.
Any clue?
Edit: Somehow I managed to get it working, it was an application specific bug. Thank you both!
Macros not rendering inside rich text editor
Hi Antoine,
Thanks for a great package.
I need the ability to render macros inside RTE, currently the macro alias is just printed on the page, is it possible to render macros in a RTE?
Or can i dig into the source myself and fix it?
Hi Rasmus

Does this make sense?

Hi Rasmus
Jan is right, you can enable macro rendering within the macros properties.
Anyway, if you are using the grid, it's not recomended to add macros into RTE, it's better to add them within the grid areas instead.

Hi Rasmus,
There is already an known issue about that: http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-6206.
The Archetype's guys seems to have found some way to fixed that that https://github.com/imulus/Archetype/issues/103, and it can be a good starting point.
is working on a reply...
