Of course, it's a little tricky. The dynamic mapping is used (see user manual, page 20 and following). The issue id is either the nodeId or own property with a unique value. This value must be included in the subject of e-mail. You need to continue to use the autoresonder function from mail2cms (see user manual, page 9 (5.2.1 Actions after import)).
However, it must be written in principle, additional code. Here then is mainly used the content service of Umbraco.
For more details, unfortunately it is still too early. But perhaps after the final release this will be the first blog post to mail2cms from me.
thank you! mail2cms works already with the most blog packages (i.e. articulate). I will develop an own full ticket system package which contains mail2cms for the mail reply interface.
I'm working already on mail2cms. In the next days I will release v1.1.1 with two bug fixes for the scheduler and auto folders.
creating a custom ticket system with auto responder
Hi Soren
This is looking very promising. Im particularly interested on how you plan to add suppor for implementing "creating a custom ticket system".
How do you plan to handle the assigning of issue number and repetitive communiation back-n-forth to the same issue case.
Would be intersting to hear your plans on this.
cheers
Hi keilo,
thank you :)

Great to hear that Soren. This looks like a lot of thought gone into it and the ui/details.
Where can I follow the blog post? Will look forward to it
cheers

Best,
Sören

Any update on this?
Hi Andreas,
sorry, but I haven’t made a support ticket system with mail2cms. Unfortunately I do not have time for such a new project.
Cheers, Sören
